About the event

Coming back to work after a long break is challenging. Especially, after becoming a mother as the new role puts our world upside-down. You rediscover the new parts of your character, develop new skills, and set priorities toward family. After a while, returning to professional activities or being forced to change completely the career path seems overwhelming, at times even impossible.

That's why together with The Chemin Center we decided to help in the process and create conditions to facilitate restoring career after the break.

We want to encourage moms (and not only!) to start thinking about returning to the professional path and plan how to do it with us. We invite you to our "Returning to Work" workshop - a safe space where you can come (also with your child) and with proper preparation and support, start your professional come-back.

During the workshop, we'll provide: -  assistance in setting goals and building confidence - coaching on the mindful career (re)development - personal branding in the context of your future job requirements - polishing your CV - guidance on how to prepare your social media profiles for the new endeavors - a personal career (re)development progress board - operational and legal advisement on how to make your entrepreneurial plan official - a dedicated task checklist and list of the next steps to follow that will help you get closer to reaching your goal - safe working space where you can focus completely on your progress - nanny onsite if you'd like to visit the center with your child/ren - an engaged and dedicated community that will support you during your journey to returning to work happily and with a tranquil mindset

Organizational info: We can welcome max 5 participants. You can register for the workshop by contacting Weronika (weronika.k.biel@gmail.com) or Laetitia (laetitia.cathie@cheminccb.be). Please note that clicking "Going" or "Interested" on Facebook does not count as registration.

Price: The recommended price is €35 per workshop per person, paid in advance while booking your place (details will be provided after emailing us). It's possible to receive an invoice or a bill.

If the budget is an issue, please register and join us anyway. While registering let us know the price within a reason that you're comfortable to dedicate. Our foremost goal is to encourage and support you.

Communication: We'll be working primarily in English. Translation into French, Italian and Polish is possible. This will be a regular workshop, happening once per month.
